This year's Pannon Relay was held with the participation of ten secondary schools, with the aim of allowing students to get to know the world of Pannon University more closely, gaining insight into the everyday life of university life. Students and teachers from Veszprém's secondary schools joined the event with great enthusiasm, for which we would like to express our gratitude.
The teams were made up of eight people: four boys and four girls. The participants took turns covering the total distance of 8000 metres in 500-metre intervals, meaning the race required not only endurance but also serious teamwork.
The event was opened by Dr. László Edvy, Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports at Pannon University, after which Balázs Szentesi introduced the students to the basics and interesting facts of ergometer rowing. Following the start, the competition began in a great atmosphere: team members encouraged each other and completed the challenging distance with the support of their teachers.
