The year 2026 has so far clearly been about movement and community building in Veszpr\u00e9m and its region. According to the first-quarter review of the Veszpr\u00e9m-Balaton European Sports Region programme series, mass sports events involving thousands, health screening programmes, and an exciting tower run have all brightened up the spring season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the 2025 preparation year, the Europe's Sports Region programme series was officially launched at the beginning of 2026. At the opening event on January 30, Veszpr\u00e9m and its 99 partner municipalities reaffirmed their commitment to the \u201eYear of Movement\u201d. Three months have passed since then, and the results of the first quarter are already spectacular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
